Undergraduate Researcher, Elizabeth, Won Prestigious Awards

Congratulations to Elizabeth Donahue, who won the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Certificate of Undergraduate Excellence Award for her academic achievement and dedication to research.

Elizabeth has been working with us on using the in-house developed physics-inspired Bayesian machine learning program for the conformational analysis of biological molecules with state-of-the-art quantum chemistry methods. She has learned many new and exciting techniques in our group, including probabilistic programming, molecular quantum mechanics, and machine learning theory and practices.

Elizabeth will be presented at the departmental ceremony on May 8. She will receive the certificate as well as a copy of the Merck Index. Kudos, Elizabeth!
