Congratulations to Dr. Yang Wang who successfully defended his thesis

Congratulations to Dr. Yang Wang, who successfully defended his PhD thesis! Yang has been working with me and Prof. Mohanty during his graduate studies. Yang has also collaborated with our colleagues, including Prof. Wang, Prof. Huang, and Prof. Grimaud. Yang has published many original research papers, including four first-author papers (Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation (2024), ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces (2023 & 2021), Journal of Physical Chemistry B (2022)) and seven co-authored papers (Angewandte Chemie International Edition (2024), Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation (2024 & 2022), Advanced Materials (2024), Advanced Functional Materials (2024), Advanced Energy Materials (2023), Nano Research (2022)). In addition, Yang is going to finish two more first-author papers soon. Yang will start his postdoctoral researcher position at Columbia University in NYC with Prof. Friesner. We wish him the very best in his future career path!
